Ganpati in Herrsching am Ammersee

We love it! We have been ordering here since we moved in Seefeld few months ago. Lunch during the working hours is quite cheap and the rest of the food is really nice and good Quality, as well as, the delivery people are really polite and nice too

Delivery service underground, ordered at 7 p.m., according to tel. Information will arrive in 15 minutes. Delivered at 8:35 p.m. after asking twice by phone where the food was going, previously asked by the delivery service itself once by phone where the delivery address was that was spelled in German and English when ordering (delivery address was in the neighboring town, 15 min Travel time). The food was then of course lukewarm, 1 ordered starter was simply not delivered (paid for by us?, I don't know, because I won't order anything more), but rice was delivered in quantities for 10 people (we had 3 main dishes and 3 starters + bread and yogurt ordered). The meat portions in the main courses were more than clear, chicken and lamb as children / senior portion, the vegetables were mushy. Even the bottle of Merlot on the house cannot make up for the deficit of this "delivery service". My conclusion: if you do not meet the requirements for a good delivery service (deliver orders as ordered, deliver food warm because the delivery vehicle has a navigation system so that the food is not driven around the area for 1 hour haphazardly, portion sizes reasonably priced), It is better not to offer a delivery service, but only to focus on the restaurant business. We cannot judge this because we did not eat on site.

Food was really very good, also ideal for vegetarians. Location could be better, inside you are in a basement. Outside, the ambience isn't that great when you sit down either. The problem with my girlfriend was that the glass wasn't so clean, she then drank from the bottle. But would come again because of the food!

Outside you sit perfectly, inside it's not that nice, but we like to come back again and again because of the delicious food and extremely friendly service

Great food, excitingly seasoned. Unfortunately, little moderation from the service, whatever is being served (plate with 4 meat dishes and 3x vegetables). Interesting wine list with selected well-known names. We are happy to come back.

I met good friends there. I really enjoyed the vegetarian food. The decor is typically Indian. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Atmosphere unfortunately without natural light, otherwise rather like a canteen furnished. However, the food is just great !!! DELICIOUS

Great food at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, the waiter responsible for us could not speak German, so the billing was a bit irritating in the end. But the delicious food just great!

Very cool food. Indian was new to me, I like spicy food. The restaurant was always a bit crowded when I was there, which is a shame for the atmosphere.

Do ask for typical Indian spicy food. Friendly stuff decent ambience. Chicken tikka (Spicy) with Rice, yummy. Have some Jamoon as desert. Will definitely recommend to get a taste of North Indian food.

Actually, I'm not the big India food fan ... I ordered the mixed Tandori skewer with different kinds of meat ... plus rice and Nanbrot was very flavorful Cozy atmosphere ... the owner was a little reserved ....

I ate the food here a while ago and it was amazing. Rajni aunty serves with love and offered us the dessert for free - kheer. It was amazing. She offers punjabi food with great taste. We loved it.❤

There are 2 restaurants with amazing indian food, Ganpati is one of them. I order pretty much once a week or once every 2 weeks, the seasoning and the sauces are absolutely right on the spot. Every time I take a bite I think to myself "damn, this is so f$%£&^ good". I only order the vegetarian meals, my favourite are Paneer tika masala, murgh nilgiri with cheese instead of meat, chana masala, karahi paneer. My husband tried the....I think it's called Rashida or smt like that, yoghurt with peppermint, amazing. Last time I tried something new, with eggplants. The combibation was really good and the eggplants so good cooked, they gave a twist to the whole dish. I simply love their food and it's a family restaurant,so I' really happy to have them here.

Amazing food amazing service. We had the butter chicken and chicken jalfrezi and both were amazing. It is difficult to find good authentic indian food in Europe but this restaurant didnt disappoint us at all. Rajni Aunty, who manages and serves at rhe restaurant was a lovely host. Would definitely recommend this to every indian food lover.

Staying away from home, this is one restaurant which will make you remember home in reality. You have to definitely meet Ms. Rajni for her amazing and homely hospitality. Delicious! Priced for Indian (and Herrsching) very cheap and decent portions to be full. Huge selection - something for everyone! A very friendly, helpful and fast service. And they deliver! :) Can highly recommend Ganpati!

Should try the Fish mango curry which is mouthwatering taste with rice and naan . Received a good hospitality and a yummy masala tea as compliment. If you are at Ammersee please go and visit the Ganpati restaurant...

My friend and I were for the first time Indian food. We had reserved a table for the evening of 31.12.18. The food was very good, I can not put it in words. We were excited! For people who like to drink wine: the Indian white wine is lonely top! Price-performance top!

Simply put, it was delicious and great service. We had two salmon with a fantastic sauce plus garlic bread See the pictures. Delicious and the price was good too. We will be back. Who would have thought such a nice place in Herrsching.

A little disappointed, prior the way of dealing their lady staff were excellent but now no one cares if the customer is sitting for 1 hour. I used to love their environment due to positive behaviour of staff,but now I felt totally different,bring that old staff again or me and my friends are not gonna visit again.Sorry :)

Very nice staff and very good food butterchicken very tasty and inexpensive for 12.50 paid 56 € for 3 main courses and drinks than there was Indian bread with 3 different varieties. Free dips and a passion fruit liqueur at the end
